Description

Quimper's Quarters is one of our pet friendly Port Renfrew cabin rentals. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, queen size bed and double hide-a-bed in living area, SmarTV and WIFI.

The cottage features a large, fully enclosed deck (perfect to keep your pets or young one safe) complete with a BBQ and muskoka chairs. Around the back, you will find a nice outdoor sitting area with a wood burning fire pit, outdoor lighting and a shed with outdoor games like ladder ball and bocce. It’s only a few steps to the community deck with great views of San Juan Bay and the San Juan River.

Five minutes of walking from the cottage will get you to our marina if you’re going fishing, want to take in the sea air or enjoy a meal and drink at Bridgeman's Bistro. A little further on you will find a gorgeous white sandy beach that is perfect for sunsets and dog walking. Tomi’s Home Cooking is just across the street and The Coastal Kitchen Café and The Renfrew Pub are a 10 minute walk away if you get tired of your own cooking. A General store including beer, wine and the hard stuff are located about 1km from the cottage on Parkinson Road. It’s a good idea though to stock up on groceries on your way to Port Renfrew in Sooke or Cowichan Lake if you are travelling from the other direction.

Some of the largest trees in the world are located around Renfrew including Canada's Gnarliest Cedar, the Big Lonely Doug, the San Juan Spruce and the Red Creek Fir. Enjoy a hike/walk through our exceptional Pacific Northwest Rainforest or many beautiful beaches perfect for tidepooling, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling, or scuba diving. Cool off in the nearby freshwater lakes like Fairy Lake or picturesque waterfalls like Eden's falls and above all, enjoy your downtime at our relaxing cottage where cell service is non-existent and time moves slowly.
