Very cozy cabin with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. For the first cabin in the row and close to main road we were surprised by the quiet environment it provided and loved the private back yard, firepit, and access to the trail up for walks with our dog.
thank you for your review! Can't wait to host you again!
Spacious, comfortable and cozy cabin for our family of 4 (two kids, 5 and 7 yrs). The 'backyard' was a perfect and private hangout area, and the firepit was a bonus. The cabin was well equipped - plenty of kitchen/cookware, books, movies and games. Ken and Joy were very accommodating and quick to reply to messages.
Definitely recommend rewashing the kitchenware and small appliances before use as they're only as clean as how the previous guest left them.
Stayed at the cottage for a couple days for a weekend getaway with a friend. The cottage was well equipped with a nice size kitchen. Everything was very clean. Loved the gas fireplace! It heated the room so quickly on the chilly mornings. The only downside was the old sofabed which had a warped frame, making it very difficult to setup and take down, but once it was out it made a comfy place to lie down and relax with some TV
What I really liked besides having a good kitchen, was the decor. Someone (?) did a fantastic job. I liked the general rustic look, but with great choices of wall decorations, from old maritime things, to good and apparently locally sourced paintings and the crowning touch was the large photo of the tree growing on a piece of wood sticking out of the water, which I also saw while on the road. Everything we needed was there and it was clean and I hope to go back soon,
