Stayed at the cottage for a couple days for a weekend getaway with a friend. The cottage was well equipped with a nice size kitchen. Everything was very clean. Loved the gas fireplace! It heated the room so quickly on the chilly mornings. The only downside was the old sofabed which had a warped frame, making it very difficult to setup and take down, but once it was out it made a comfy place to lie down and relax with some TV
What I really liked besides having a good kitchen, was the decor. Someone (?) did a fantastic job. I liked the general rustic look, but with great choices of wall decorations, from old maritime things, to good and apparently locally sourced paintings and the crowning touch was the large photo of the tree growing on a piece of wood sticking out of the water, which I also saw while on the road. Everything we needed was there and it was clean and I hope to go back soon,
It was a pleasure to stay at this cozy cabin! Enough amenities and the area is mindblowing!

Review Title:Fantastic Cabin
Which Cottage have you stayed?:Port O Pierre
We stayed for 2 nights in August as a family of 3. The cabin was easy to find and very clean and well equipped with everything you could meet for a comfortable self catering stay. There is easy on sight parking right at the front door and great outdoor space with outdoor seating, a picnic table, a bbq and a fire pit. We would have loved to stay longer but unfortunately a busy schedule meant we only had two nights. We felt there was lots more to explore locally and would love to return some day. Wonderful setting in the woods and clean and very warm water for swimming with the newts. Thanks for a wonderul stay.

Review Title:Wish we could've stayed longer!
Which Cottage have you stayed?:Port O Pierre
Very pleased with the Port O Pierre cabin, very comfortable, homey and clean. Close to all the beautiful beaches and hikes - you can spend hours exploring and still be back to the cabin in a 5 minute drive! The resort community that the cabin is in is very nice and quiet and well kept. See the brightest stars you've ever seen in the darkest skies with the sounds of the surf in the background. Absolutely wonderful. Time actually slowed down while we were there - I only wished we'd planned to stay longer!
